About the Opportunity:
JOB PURPOSE:
Perform a wide variety of tasks to build, assemble, prep sub-assemblies, repair, move and ship completed parts following established procedures and schedules.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assemble CSS parts
- Pull stock CSS parts for shipping
- Ship CSS parts
- Complete Oracle transactions
- Complete and maintain required paperwork
- Verify parts meet quality standards
- Communicate with other departments and/or carriers as needed
- Operate pallet jack (manual and electric)
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Train other employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to use a computer including processing Oracle transactions
- Ability to operate small air, hand and electric tools
- Ability to read operating instructions
- Accurately read a tape measure
- Effectively communicate in English (read, speak and understand)
- Work independently in a fast-paced team environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs rarely
- Walk, stand, bend, squat, sit, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary
- Operate pallet jack (manual and electric)
