Summary:
Successfully transfer product items to stocking production from the receiving line in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for learning and practicing safe and proper equipment operations including Fork lifts, pallet jacks and racking systems.
- Follow company policies and follow safety guidelines.
- Advise Supervisor of needs, product shortages, problems or concerns.
- Responsible to assist in all loading/unloading of palletized products and containers.
- Maintain correct product inventories through use of the warehouse location maintenance system and log book.
- Assist with monthly physical inventory process/cycle counts and supplying stock to production and shipping areas as need in FIFO (First In First Out) order.
- Communicate accidents and/or injuries immediately. Execute all actions in conjunction with company safety guidelines.
- Complete forklift daily checklist and communicate any maintenance needs to supervisor.
- Successfully complete McGlynn Forklift training program and 90-day/720-hour evaluation.
- Report any food safety concerns to Supervisor for resolution, including a food package that is open to the food for any reason.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications (Education/Experience)
- Good communication skills and able to follow direction accurately.
- Knowledge of all forklift operation responsibilities.
- Ability to work flexible schedule with occasional overtime and weekend hours.
- Ability to work with all disciplines; interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfortability with heights.
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Understanding of Personal Protective Equipment.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a high traffic atmosphere.
- 1 to 2 years of experience on a stand up Forklift.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is desired.
- Forklift Certification desired.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
