Mill Machinist

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mill Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes and support continuous improvement in a modern, climate-controlled facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate milling machines to produce precision parts
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to develop machining strategies
  • Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient and accurate machining
  • Collaborate with CNC programmers and engineers to troubleshoot and improve processes
  • Maintain documentation for setups and machining operations
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in milling machine operation and setup
  • Proficiency with G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360)

Preferred:

  • Experience with multi-axis machining and high-precision components
  • Familiarity with ISO quality standards and lean manufacturing principles
