We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Community Event Assistants. This role involves supporting community events, nonprofit outreach activities, and public engagement initiatives throughout the Fresno area and surrounding communities.
Position Overview
As a Community Event Assistant, you will help coordinate and support in-person events that represent nonprofit partners and community initiatives. You will interact with the public, share information about important causes, and help ensure events run smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Represent nonprofit partners at community outreach events and public engagement activities
Share information about nonprofit missions, programs, and initiatives with event attendees
Assist with event preparation, booth setup, signage placement, and material organization
Interact with community members and answer questions about nonprofit initiatives
Support event coordination by helping with registration, attendee engagement, and event flow
Record attendee feedback and participation to support outreach improvement
Attend team meetings and training sessions to improve outreach efforts
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with the public
Organized and dependable with attention to detail
Interest in community involvement, nonprofit outreach, or public engagement
Willingness to learn and develop new professional skills
High school diploma or equivalent required (some college coursework preferred)
