What you'll do:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations (refractions, binocular vision, ocular health)
- Communicate effectively with patients, including Spanish-speaking patients when possible
- Prescribe glasses and contact lenses
- Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions
- Provide clear patient education and recommendations
Minimum qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active Nevada optometry license (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Preferred specialties:
- Ability to perform eye exams in Spanish (not required but highly valued)
- Experience in high-volume or retail optical settings
- Familiarity with EMR systems
