Valley EyeCare Center is seeking a dedicated, full-time optometrist to join its dynamic team across multiple locations in Pleasanton and Livermore. What you'll do:

As an Optometrist at Valley EyeCare Center, you'll leverage advanced diagnostic equipment, including Optomap, Zeiss Cirrus OCT, Pentacam, ICare, IOL Master, Tracey, Humphrey Visual Fields, Virtual Fields, and Topcon Topographer, to provide comprehensive eye care, diagnosing and managing a wide variety of vision and eye health conditions. You’ll perform comprehensive eye exams, prescribe corrective lenses, and manage eye diseases using advanced equipment. With a schedule of 40 hours per week and 18–24 patients daily, you’ll work in a collaborative, compassionate environment that ensures each patient receives attentive, expert care.

Who you are:

You excel at working collaboratively within a team-driven environment, bringing valuable expertise in contact lens fittings and prescriptions. Your strong clinical skills enable you to confidently manage a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of visual needs across all age groups. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in performing comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing various eye conditions. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities allow you to connect with patients and colleagues alike, fostering a supportive and positive workplace culture. You consistently deliver outstanding patient care and demonstrate a compassionate bedside manner. You provide exceptional patient care with a compassionate bedside manner, building trust and comfort. You hold a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school and an active California Optometrist license. Experience in medical or ophthalmology settings is a plus, but not required.
