Wilson Construction Company has an immediate opening in our Rancho Cordova office for a highly experienced, Sr. Project Manager with extensive estimating and large project management experience and a positive, results-oriented attitude and the experience to lead, manage and provide valuable input to project teams.


Sr. Project Manager Responsibilities include working with project teams to provide technical and project management leadership on large, fast-paced utility underground transmission and substation construction projects. Duties will include the estimating, developing, planning, coordinating and the fulfillment of all technical requirements related to assigned proposals and projects. The candidate must possess the ability to coordinate all proposal and project communication interdepartmentally, with the project owner when appropriate, while representing the company in day-to-day project tasks and activities


Requirements include:
· Ten plus years of office and field management or technical services experience related to 69kv to 500kV utility electrical underground construction, including experience in mid to upper-level management.
· Minimum of five years’ experience as a lead estimator and lead project manager on major underground oriented utility projects.
· An extensive background in transmission, distribution and substation estimating and construction is also beneficial for this position.
· Expertise in project management, including scheduling, cost estimating, coordination, and quality control.
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or Construction Management or equivalent work experience.
· Proficiency in MS Office. Microsoft Project and Primavera skills are beneficial.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Willingness to work outside and subject to extensive travel as required; and
· This position will be based out of our office in Rancho Cordova, CA. Candidates must reside within a reasonable driving distance of the office or be willing to relocate.


Successful candidates should have relevant Sr. level experience in electrical underground estimating and construction for large-scale construction projects. Our ideal candidate will be an organized, motivated self-starter and leader with the specified experience within the utility construction industry.


Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
