Enhancing vision health
As an Optometrist, you'll play a key role in delivering vision health by working in a recently expanded, state-of-the-art facility with six exam lanes, four of them newly equipped. They also have advanced diagnostic technologies such as ZEISS Cirrus 5000 OCT, ZEISS Clarus ultra-widefield imaging, Humphrey Visual Fields with Guided Progression Analysis, and ZEISS FORUM integration.
Your responsibilities will include conducting routine and medical eye exams, delivering diagnosis and management of ocular conditions, and maintaining documentation. You will collaborate with in-suite ophthalmologic services and external specialists to ensure continuity of care through follow-up and patient education. Starting as a part-time role with the possibility of transitioning to full-time as your patient base grows, you will contribute to Chevy Chase Eye Design’s reputation as a leader in eye care.
Approach to Care and Experience
You have a strong background in retinal diagnostics and clinical decision-making, and are experienced in fitting many types of contact lenses, including advanced designs. With solid training in both comprehensive and medical optometry and full EHR knowledge, you care for patients of all ages and visual needs.
New graduates with good clinical training and medical interest are welcome. You thrive in collaborative settings, support excellent patient care, a positive work culture, and have an ongoing commitment to learning.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Optometry license in the state of Maryland
- Prefer 3 years of clinical practice
- Residency in ocular disease
