Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. (SEMP) is hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant to support our fast-paced office operations. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional with customer service or call center experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, service-focused environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Main Responsibilities
- Answer and process a moderate volume of incoming phone calls
- Process administrative and new-hire paperwork while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
- Operate office equipment, including multi-line phone systems, printers, and scanners
- Communicate effectively and professionally with employees and the public
- Organize, track, and maintain records with strong attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Process outbound mail requests via FedEx, UPS, and USPS
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy office environment
- Demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed to support department operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative, human resources, customer service, or call center role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM preferred
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
