Job DetailsJob Location: California - Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 Base+Commission/yearResponsibilities: Shibaura Machine Company, America has been an Illinois corporation since 1975, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shibaura Machine Co., Ltd., a premier manufacturer of a variety of high-quality industrial machinery. The principal responsibility of the Sales Accounts Manager position is to actively engage in the sales and promotion of the Company’s line of Casting and Molding products in a designated territory.     *** Although the job location reflects our headquarters, candidates must reside within the assigned territory. This requirement is non-negotiable, as the role requires daily in-territory customer visits, consistent on-site engagement, and occasional travel to our Elk Grove Village, IL office for training ***     Territories:   California  Nevada Arizona    QualificationsEssential Duties: o Ensuring profitable sales of division products and performing all duties related to the position of Sales Accounts Manager, including, but not limited to, the following. o Establish sales goals and strategies for assigned territory, and sales promotions. o Sell injection molding equipment by establishing contacts and developing relationships with all buying influences at respective customers. o Maintain relationships with customers by providing information and guidance; and researching and recommending new opportunities. o Research of market trends and competitor’s information. o Manage technical sales in the assigned territory to maximize the understanding of our products both within and outside Company. o Identify and communicate product improvements, or new product applications, by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competition. o Effectively communicate with inside sales personnel as regards quotes, new opportunities, and existing business. o Participate in the formulation of sales policies, practices, and procedures. o Control prices as approved by Company. o Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales. o Organize regular and periodic sales meetings. o Conduct credit research and analysis of customers as required. o Conduct collection of payments. o Periodically report business status and sales leads as required. o Assist traffic department for machine delivery. o Assist customer service department to support SMA customer value proposition. o Actively participate in social media with your business contacts through LinkedIn and Twitter along with other SMA social media marketing activities including active solicitation of followers to our website. o Utilize CRM (customer relationship management) and CPQ (configure, price and quote) software as implemented. o Conduct monthly sales opportunity review meetings with dealers to drive new sales opportunities and machine orders.     Any other duties and tasks, consistent with your abilities, which may be assigned.   Minimum Requirements:   o Five (5) years’ experience in the plastic industry. o Proven experience in capital equipment sales; experience with injection molding machine sales is preferred. o  Willingness to travel on short notice throughout the assigned territory with occasional international travel. o Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. o  Excellent customer service skills and proven ability in developing and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships; o Valid passport for travel to and from the U.S., and the willingness to do so. o Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a driving record free of serious incidents, such as DUI’s. o Sufficient credit or other financial resources to permit unrestricted domestic and international travel pending expense report reimbursement of legitimate business expenses.   Working Conditions: o  Manufacturing conditions at a wide variety of customer sites. These facilities may have certain standards, which all vendors must meet to gain access, including the requirement for drug, background, and health screening. Employment is contingent upon employee’s compliance to the standards established by each such facility, as evidenced by the results of the required screening. o Up to 70-80% of work time will require travel to industrial sites throughout Employee’s territory, with occasional travel throughout the Americas and overseas. o Hybrid work schedule.
