ImageCare is seeking a Full-Time Mammography Technologist for our Randolph office. All candidates must report to Mount Olive on their first day for onboarding.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
To perform quality mammography x-rays films for referring physicians for diagnosing a patient's condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Perform and process routine mammography x-rays.

2.   Perform 100 mammographies per year to maintain certification.

3.   Stock rooms with supplies.

4.   Demonstrate excellent patient care

5.   Maintain HIPAA practices and HIPAA training

6.   Always verify patient with exam order and study to be performed

7.   Maintenance and organization of patient film file records in our EMR and on site as needed.

8.   Handling patient priors as needed.

9.   Checking and verifying exam with EMR order vs Rx

10.  Verifying images, notes, authorization number if pertinent to patient exams.

11.  Verifying Physician study routing preferences.

12.  Scan in patient paperwork and verify exams in PACS with all necessary information for Radiologist to read exam.

13.  Maintains continuing education as required to ensure ARRT certification.

14.  Maintain clean and stocked work area.

15.  Maintain HIPAA practices and HIPAA training

16.  Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Medical specialties:

• Radiology

Experience:

• Medical imaging: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mammography: 1 year (Preferred)
• X-Ray: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• ARRT Certification (Required)
