We are seeking a dedicated, resourceful IT Technician to support our school's technology needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic educational environment and is passionate about helping staff and students succeed through reliable technology.

What You’ll Do
- Provide technical support for Windows 11 desktops and laptops.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Perform hardware repairs and upgrades on desktops and laptops.
- Support and maintain Office 365 accounts and applications.
- Assist teachers and staff with basic tech troubleshooting
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with the IT team and vendors as needed.
- Assist with equipment moves, technology setups, and deployments between school locations.
- Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions as needed.

What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience supporting Windows 11 computers in a professional environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office 365, including common Office applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing desktop and laptop hardware.
- Experience troubleshooting printers, scanners, and other common peripherals.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, IP addresses, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and work independently.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and the ability to travel between school sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a school or educational setting.
- Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, routers, switches).
- Intune and Google Workspace knowledge.
- Experience with Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience working with ticketing/help-desk systems.
- Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent experience.
