We are looking for a dependable Transport Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide resident care and safely transport residents to appointments, therapy, and other designated locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily care needs, mobility, transfers, and comfort.
- Safely transport residents to appointments, therapy, treatment areas, and other locations.
- Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility equipment during transport.
- Observe and report resident changes, concerns, delays, or incidents to nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate care and transportation documentation.
- Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, traffic laws, infection control standards, and confidentiality requirements.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in good standing.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, transfer, reposition, and transport residents safely.
- Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
- Previous long-term care or healthcare transportation experience preferred.
