Description
General Function: Executes food preparations, stockroom management, cleaning of kitchen facility, equipment and general cleaning of dining facilities.
Entry Requirements:
路 Prior experience in food service. 6 months- 1 year experience
路 Knowledge of potential safety and security problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
路 Implementation of all food service functions at camp, which includes food prep, service, cleaning of kitchen facilities, equipment and dining facilities.
路 Monitor all necessary food and cooking supplies.
路 Dining hall set up for special events.
路 Manage camp resources (as related to food services), proactively working toward a consistent focus, enhancement and quality food and meals to support the mission of the YMCA.
路 Adhere to all safety standards dictated by the American Camping Association and the licensing standards of the State of Michigan.
聽Effect on End Results: The Food Service Staff member is responsible for all meals served and the equipment and facilities used in the food service process. The position will have a direct impact on the quality stay for all guests of camp. YMCA Camp Copneconic will have a satisfied and growing participant base, quality programs and services, sound financial position and a positive community image.聽
