Job DetailsJob Location: Rapid City Office - Rapid City, SD 57701Position Type: Full-timeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: DaySummary/Objective The Director of Rapid City Services provides oversight of outreach efforts for several programs including Community Outreach, Mommy’s Closet, Veteran Outreach Center (VOC), HIV, Ryan White, and the Homeless coalition. This includes daily staff performance management, budgetary management, community engagement, and programmatic compliance. Essential Functions Directly supervise administrative personnel and service coordinators that provide office management, case management, emergency resources, and assistance to eligible clients Lead initiatives aimed at fostering community partnerships, providing services in the area, and growth of the organization. Cultivate and nurture relationships with South Dakota Continuum of Cares (CoCs) to support our mission. Take charge of targeted objectives for outreach efforts in Rapid City and the surrounding areas. Develop and execute specific goals and objectives for all programs within our purview, and continuously update and manage key performance indicators for each program. Review and approve necessary documentation to ensure compliance with grant requirements. Assess and endorse all reports and data submissions essential for grant compliance and future funding opportunities. Collaborate with the Grants team to actively seek additional funding sources. Enforce policy and accreditation standards to maintain organizational compliance. Ensure the completion of safety training and timely, consistent monthly inspections. Collaborate with the VP of Correctional Services and Community Outreach in preparing budgets. Maintain regular verbal and written communication with the VP of Correctional Services and Community Outreach, other managers or directors, accounting personnel, program directors, and all contract customers. Supervise census data, outcome measurement systems, and annual reporting procedures. Act as the organization's representative in public interactions on a daily basis. Assist in recruiting and onboarding new staff, including providing necessary documentation to the HR department upon completion. Contribute valuable information for strategic planning and take responsibility for its implementation across the various programs. Continuously identify and address physical plant needs, seeking viable solutions to any issues. Perform other duties assigned to support the organization's mission and goals. Supervise referrals and admittance into the VOC as necessary. Provide oversite to the Program Manager of HIV and Ryan White Servies. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones. This would require lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or stooping as necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand including on-call. Travel Regular travel is required. Travel will include daily and overnight trips for essential program oversight and training. Required Education, Experience, or Eligibility Qualifications A bachelor's degree in social services or related field or three years of equivalent work experience. One year of program management Familiar with human service program delivery.
