BetheUnitSecretaryyoualwayswantedto be

• Maintaincompleteandaccuratemedicalrecordsforpatientsusingappropriatelabeling system.
• Maintaincompleteandaccuratemedicalrecordsforpatientsusingappropriatelabeling system.
• Accurately/efficientlytranscribemedicalordersanddistributestootherdisciplinesas needed.
• Actasahelpfulresourceforpatients,families,physicians,andvisitorsatthenursing station.
• Coordinateunitoperationstooptimizethedeliveryofsafepatient care.
• Scheduletests,appointmentsandtransportationasneededinatimely manner.
• Serveasaliaisonforinquiries,directingthemtotheappropriatepersonfor resolution.

Qualifications

• CPRcertification preferred.
• Oneyearofinpatientunitsecretaryexperience preferred.
• Active enrollment in a healthcare program (such as nursing), familiarity with medical terminology,andexperienceinreadingandtranscribingmedicalordersarepreferred.
