We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Services team. In this role, you will assist with meal preparation and service while helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining environment. Your work directly contributes to providing our residents with nutritious meals and a positive dining experience.

Schedule:

Full-Time (32 hours per week)

10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Alternating weekends required

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with meal preparation, portioning, and serving according to menus and dietary guidelines.
Deliver meals and provide friendly, respectful service to residents.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining room, and food service areas.
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Assist with food storage, stocking, and inventory.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
Work collaboratively with the Dietary team to provide excellent service.
Treat residents, families, visitors, and coworkers with compassion, dignity, and respect.
Support the mission and values of Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur through daily interactions.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least one year of food service or kitchen experience preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to comply with all state and federal regulations, including resident rights and food safety standards.
A genuine desire to serve older adults with kindness, patience, and hospitality.
Willingness to support the faith-based mission of Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
