About the Role:

The Adjunct of Business Administration and Marketing plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to undergraduate and graduate students within the business program. This position is responsible for designing and teaching in-person courses that cover fundamental and advanced concepts in business administration and marketing, ensuring that students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The role involves staying current with industry trends and academic research to provide relevant and engaging content that prepares students for successful careers. Ultimately, this position aims to foster a dynamic learning environment that supports student achievement and professional growth in the field of business and marketing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in business administration and marketing principles through academic or professional experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse student populations.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Professional experience in marketing, business management, or related industries.
  • Experience with online or hybrid course delivery and educational technology tools.
  • Record of scholarly activity or contributions to the field of business or marketing.
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards and academic assessment practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops in business administration and marketing courses.
  • Develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, exams, and case studies that align with program objectives.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through grading assignments, exams, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain regular office hours to support student learning and provide academic advising.

Skills:

The required skills enable the adjunct faculty member to design and deliver comprehensive course content that meets academic standards and student needs. Effective communication skills are essential for presenting complex business concepts clearly and engagingly, as well as for providing meaningful feedback to students.
