We are seeking a Service Sales Representative for our Reading, PA office.
 
The Service Sales Representative will sell to new and existing clients and schedule sales appointments through self‑generated leads. This position will inspect roofs, estimate service needs, prepare scopes of work, and develop pricing and written proposals. This role reports directly to the President and Service Manager.
 
Job Functions:
  • Prospect via cold calls, emails, door‑to‑door visits, networking, and referrals
  • Actively participate in local organizations such as BOMA and IREM, including networking events
  • Schedule sales appointments with key decision-makers
  • Build long-term business relationships with clients
  • Conduct site inspections and partner with clients to identify needs
  • Present appropriate roofing service solutions
  • Prepare proposals and estimates using blueprints, specifications, field notes, and on‑site inspections
  • Maintain accurate sales logs and submit documentation in a timely manner
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and secure referrals
  • Sell commercial roof systems, including coatings (acrylic & silicone) and roof safety systems
 
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing sales/estimating (preferred) or construction estimating and sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project
  • Ability to prepare bids using Excel and estimating software
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to perform take-offs and core cuts as needed
  • Ability to climb ladders, walk roofs, and work at heights
  • OSHA 30 or OSHA 10
  • Clean driving record.  
 
Salary starts at $65,000, depending on experience, with additional earnings through our performance‑based pay structure. Company vehicle included
