Job DetailsJob Location: Reading, PA - Reading , PA 19601Hospice Chaplain Spiritual support. Compassionate presence. Come join a compassionate team dedicated to bringing comfort, guidance, and meaningful support to patients and families during end-of-life care. The Hospice Chaplain provides spiritual and emotional support to hospice patients and families receiving care in home or facility settings by addressing spiritual needs, offering compassionate guidance and emotional support, and participating in interdisciplinary care planning to support quality end-of-life care. Key Responsibilities  • Conduct spiritual assessments  • Provide spiritual counseling and support  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings  • Support patients, families, and caregivers Qualifications  • Ordained, commissioned, or otherwise recognized and in good standing with a religious denomination or faith tradition. • Bachelor's degree preferred; Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent theological education preferred. • Previous experience providing spiritual care; hospice, healthcare, hospital, or pastoral care experience preferred. • Knowledge of hospice philosophy, grief support, and end-of-life spiritual care. • State Requirements may vary • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
