POSITION SUMMARY:
Penske Transportation Solutions, the leader in the transportation industry, has an exciting opportunity to leverage your strong project management skills and passion for people while supporting organizational alignment and operational effectiveness. As a Human Resources Project Manager, you will facilitate and manage HR activity related to acquisitions, associate integrations, strategic response, and organizational alignment across the business.
This role plays a key part in coordinating HR activities during acquisitions, operational transitions, and other complex organizational events. You will partner with a collaborative team of HR professionals to coordinate work across benefits, compensation, staffing, Workforce Systems and Analytics (HRIS), HR operations, labor relations, and payroll. Your ability to handle complex projects and align stakeholders across multiple business lines and departments outside of HR will help deliver a consistent associate experience and support business success.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee HR projects and initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.Â
- Coordinate HR activities related to acquisitions and associate integrations, ensuring systems, benefits, payroll, and support processes are aligned for a seamless transition.Â
- Act as a consultant to HR and business leaders on best practices related to associate integrations and HR disaster response coordination.Â
- Support enterprise disaster management by assisting with HR response coordination, communication, HR Partner enablement, and data collection.Â
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support disaster response systems, tools, and reporting capabilities, providing visibility into associate and location impacts.Â
- Contribute to developing and improving team processes, data tracking tools, and operational playbooks to enhance organizational readiness and response effectiveness.Â
- Work with leaders across all Penske business units to assess business needs.
- Identify risks or gaps across HR workstreams and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams to successfully achieve project goals.Â
- Develop and maintain project plans, communication strategies, and timelines to ensure consistent implementation of various projects across locations and business units.Â
- Present project updates, recommendations, and results to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other HR Project Managers to maintain consistent project management practices and execution.
