Internship – Mechanical Engineer Intern

The Mechanical Engineer Intern will play a vital role working with 2D and 3D drawings for HVAC clean rooms, chilled water, and compressed air systems. The Intern will assist with basic calculations, system assessments, and modeling related to facility operations.

The Mechanical Engineer Intern will gain hands-on experience in hands-on experience supporting facility operations and system improvements across multiple locations.

This internship is located in Reading, PA.

Brentwood’s Internship program gives students the opportunity to gain meaningful, real-world work experience aligned with their studies. Each summer we offer a variety of paid internships to college and university students in undergraduate programs.

Eligibility Requirements

Full-time student in a 4-year (BA, BS) in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8
Be legally authorized to work within the U.S.
Excellent written/verbal communication
Strong critical thinking, organizational and planning skills
Experience with AutoCAD and Plant Layouts 2D
Understanding of mechanical engineering principles
Experience with Microsoft Office

Program Requirements:

Attend first day orientation
Full-time availability between June 1st- August 7^th
Adhere to all company rules, regulations, and policies
Final Deliverable – Must prepare and present to management and leadership
