Job Duties:

  • Plan, coordinate, and optimize shift activities while maintaining effective communication and alignment with other shift supervisors to ensure seamless operational continuity.
  • Lead and manage daily shift operations by delegating responsibilities, assigning work priorities, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and follow-up to ensure productivity and accountability.
  • Oversee warehousing and production activities, including bulk loading and unloading, material handling, packaging, filling, mixing, blending, and inventory movements in compliance with operational procedures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS), regulatory, and quality standards, fostering a strong safety-first culture throughout the facility.
  • Monitor operational performance and address issues proactively to minimize downtime, improve efficiency, and maintain customer service levels.
  • Execute and review shift-related administrative functions, including production documentation, inventory transactions, shipping and receiving records, work orders, and employee attendance reporting.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of warehouse and production operators, promoting teamwork, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments including Logistics, Customer Service, Quality, Maintenance, and Plant Management to support operational objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, hazardous chemical handling procedures, OSHA regulations, and applicable industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience supervising warehouse and production operations within a chemical manufacturing, distribution, or bulk handling environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hazardous material handling, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and production processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage frontline employees.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
