Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing the day-to-day operation, quality, and safety functions in the department.
• Responsible for the coordination of staffing, materials, quality control, and maintenance to meet expected productivity.
• Maintain operations in compliance with SOP’s, company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Provide process guidance and technical troubleshooting support to production personnel in order to maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
• Ability to understand and operate manufacturing equipment/process in the production area. 
• Work closely with management staff regarding productivity, quality, and employee performance.
• Ensure good housekeeping is adhered to and maintained in all work areas.
• Any other duties as they arise.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

• A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage, lead, and motivate a team.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA, State, and Federal employee regulations
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must wear appropriate PPE as required.

· Unrestricted ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs, ladders and balance.

· Unrestricted ability to use hands and arms.

· Ability to lift, push, pull and/or move 55 pounds.

· Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

· Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and a wide range of temperatures.

· Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.

· Noise level is usually loud.
