The Production Team Lead is responsible for maintaining adequate staffing and ensuring smooth production on their line, while upholding safety, quality, and company standards.

Production Team Lead Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate production and packaging staff.
Maintain staffing levels and ensure smooth production on the line.
Enforce safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Train and mentor employees as needed.
Monitor production schedules and work orders to meet output goals.
Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
Communicate company policies, procedures, and job expectations.
Address employee issues, complaints, and grievances.

Requirements

Proven experience in a leadership role with the ability to train and mentor employees.
Basic computer and mechanical skills.
Knowledge of good sanitation and manufacturing practices.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
