Quality Verifier / path to InspectorÂ
Full Time – HourlyÂ
Indicon is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person to join the Quality Team. This is a tight-knit, cross functional group motivated by excellence and teamwork. It is the job of our Verification/Inspection Team to ensure that our finished products meet customer specifications as well as our own internal expectations. This is an entry point to the Indicon Reading Quality Team. We work to consistently make things better.Â
Build experience to the level of an A-2 Assembly Tech is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.Â
Responsibilities and DutiesÂ
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Â
- Knowledge and ability to follow and adhere to Quality processes.
- Advance Assembly knowledge and problem-solving skills related to all AMAT products.
- Advanced knowledge and ability to read drawings, wire lists and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Advanced ability to install pre-labeled harnesses using Work Instructions
- Must be able to perform a basic visual inspection, verify proper torque (when needed), and apply proper torque marks (when needed)
- Must be proficient at filling out Quality Checklists and the Inspection Data Base
- Ability to respond to Production Line calls for Quality concerns or needs.
- Identify deficiencies, record them properly, and request Rework as needed.
- Follow up with the appropriate channels when concerns are identified. Â
- Communicating with other team members to solve problems.
Qualifications and SkillsÂ
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (speak, read, write) – Spanish/English a plus.
- Strong and positive AMAT Flex and Flow building experience
- Effective communication, active listening, interpersonal, and writing skills.
- Problem Solving with analytical and decision-making skills. Â
- Good understanding of – or ability to learn – Teams, Excel, Outlook
- Detail-oriented and solution-focused • Flexibility to juggle multiple tasks and calls.
- Follow 6S practices daily.
