Schedule
Full-Time
Flexible schedule with participation in an on-call rotation providing telephone triage support.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to children and adolescents in a residential treatment setting.
- Administer and document medications in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
- Coordinate medical, psychiatric, dental, vision, and specialty healthcare services.
- Complete nursing assessments and maintain accurate medical documentation.
- Monitor and communicate medication changes and healthcare updates to treatment teams.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, direct care staff, and families to support treatment goals.
- Promote infection control, medication management, and health and safety standards.
- Support emergency response procedures and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Assist with staff education related to health, wellness, and medication administration.
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, pediatrics, mental health, or working with children and adolescents preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Must meet all required clearances and licensing requirements.
