Join a Supportive Elementary Team Serving Students with Diverse Communication Needs

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, onsite elementary school opportunity in Reading, Pennsylvania for the 2026–2027 school year.

This position is based at an elementary school serving PreK–4th grade students and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload that includes speech-only students, students in autistic support classrooms, and students with more complex communication needs. This district offers a variety of clinical opportunities, making it easier to align roles with each clinician's interests while providing ongoing support and professional growth.

Position Details

  • Full-Time, Onsite Position
  • 2026–2027 School Year
  • August 17, 2026 – June 4, 2027
  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • Duty-free lunch provided
  • Elementary school setting (PreK–4th Grade)
  • Shared office space

Caseload & Responsibilities

The selected SLP will support a blended caseload of approximately 55–65 students with varying communication needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct speech-language therapy services
  • Conducting evaluations and writing reports
  • Developing and implementing IEP goals
  • Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Case-managing speech-only students
  • Supporting students with Autism and low-incidence disabilities
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
  • Utilizing AAC strategies and communication supports when appropriate

Clinicians should be comfortable supporting students with Autism and a variety of communication needs. Familiarity with AAC is beneficial but not required.

Training and support related to district systems, documentation, and IEP processes are available through experienced SLP Leads and Special Education Administration.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Pennsylvania State SLP License
  • Pennsylvania Educational Specialist Certificate
  • Experience working with or supporting students with Autism

  • Passion for supporting school-aged students
