We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electromechanical Technician to maintain and optimize our production equipment, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime. The successful candidate is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining food processing machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all work is performed with safety as the top priority, following OSHA, HACCP, GMP, SQF and food safety regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical (120V to 480V), pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in production equipment.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs and other automation systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the production and quality teams to maintain efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in electromechanical maintenance, preferably in the food processing industry.
  • Proficiency in industrial electrical components (120V to 480V) mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with food industry regulations and OSHA safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in varied conditions (hot, cold, wet environments).

Education & Certifications:

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Certifications in Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
