JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Join an innovative research team exploring the effectiveness of Large Language Model (LLM) ensembles versus individual models for thematic deductive analysis of text—a critical qualitative research method widely used in social sciences, education, and business research. This project aims to advance AI applications in qualitative research while providing hands-on experience in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and research methodology.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates should have:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in Information Sciences & Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of Python programming.

  • Familiarity with natural language processing concepts is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

 

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
