2nd Shift Plant Maintenance/Groundman

Rogers Group is currently seeking an experienced 2^nd Shift Plant Maintenance/Groundman in the Red Bay, AL area of the Alabama SMA, reporting to the Red Bay Plant Manager. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.

Job Details:

• Wages dependent on verifiable maintenance experience  
• 2-3 years mining experience required
• Fulltime/Permanent 
• 2^nd Shift (3:00PM-12:00AM)
• $3.00 night shift differential 
• Weekend work may be required
• Overtime available 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for overseeing maintenance  
• Perform routine inspections
• Preventative Maintenance
• Lubricating and cleaning mechanisms
• Replacing crusher liners and screen panels
• Adjusting and repairing conveyor belts
• Trouble shooting malfunctions
• Ensuring safety and operational efficiency of crushing plant equipment

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
• Previous fixed plant maintenance or related mining industry experience is required.
• Experience working with crushers, conveyors, and screens is required.
• Experience in fabricating, cutting, and welding is required.
• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, without close supervision.
• Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
• Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.
• Valid driver’s license.
