Full-Time Position Available

Autumn House East is looking for a hardworking, Full-Time Cook to add to our team! 

We are an in-house operated food service program with established menus and recipes and the flexibility to let staff shine through process and recipe improvement. If you want to make a difference in someone else's life and take your passion in cooking to the next level, please apply! We are looking for a Cook to complete our team. Autumn House East prides itself in the care and enrichment that we provide to our residents.

Cooks are the leads in the kitchen in the absence of the Chef. They are responsible for all staff completing their job in a timely fashion and correct, the closing cleanliness of the kitchen as well as meeting state and local regulations.

Employees are required to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Hours are 11am to 7pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Knowledge in cooking is a must as we look to elevate the expectations of food service.
• Compassion for elderly and a desire to improve their quality of life is the focus of this food service operation.
• The ability to lead others in appositive way
• To stand on your feet for 8 to 10 hours,
• An eye for detail

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior Cook experience is required
• Experience working in senior living facility preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus
