Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, the Upstream Planning Leader is responsible for leading upstream supply chain planning, supplier coordination, and material availability strategies to ensure seamless production execution and optimal plant performance.Ā
This role operates as a key specialist within the plant, coordinating upstream activities by applying operational standards that support safety, efficiency, and consistency. You will collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.Ā
What will you do?Ā
- Lead upstream planning processes including MRP execution and supplier alignmentĀ Ā
- Develop and manage supply strategies to ensure material availability for productionĀ Ā
- Coordinate inbound material flow from suppliers to support plant operationsĀ Ā
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics and identify inefficienciesĀ Ā
- Proactively manage supply risks, shortages, and escalationsĀ Ā
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across upstream and logistics processesĀ Ā
- Optimize logistics and supply chain processes to improve overall performanceĀ Ā
- Support plant operations by executing and improving planning and operational programsĀ Ā
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote safe working practicesĀ Ā
- Collaborate cross-functionally to meet production targets and business goalsĀ Ā
- Coach and support team members, providing guidance on non-routine or escalated issuesĀ

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
