Please apply today.   BENEFITS WE OFFER:  VERY COMPETETIVE PAY!  Generous Personal Time Off Plan (PTO) + Holidays  Medical, Dental, Prescription & Vision Coverage  Health Savings Account (HSA) with Employer Contribution  Flexible Spending Account (FSA)  401(k) Savings Plan + Employer Match  Employer Paid Basic Term Life and AD&D Coverage  Employer Paid Long Term Disability Insurance  Short Term Disability Available with Employer Contribution  Supplemental Insurance Available (Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity)  Company Paid Training  Employee Assistance Program  Company Discounts    Red Wing Shoe Safety Footwear Program  Position Summary: Efficiently and effectively work with the Used Equipment Sales Representative (supervisor), technicians, and determine schedule for Equipment Detailer-I to recondition and repair vehicles and components.   Essential Position Functions/Responsibilities: Schedule and stage equipment reconditioning process for the department Accept assigned jobs from Supervisor  Wash and detail/recondition new and used trucks Perform required work at or above efficiency standards Participate in training as required Work with Supervisor to diagnose cause and malfunction and perform basic repairs as directed by Supervisor or other technicians Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further reconditioning or repairs are needed or recommended Communicate with supervisor immediately if additional repairs are needed, if outlined work is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed in a reasonable or promised time Document in detail, work performed on repairs Report tool, machinery, or equipment defects to supervisor Keep reconditioning areas clean and safe Maintain and be accountable for all company owned tools, materials and equipment Understand and comply with all federal, state and local regulations Perform all duties and activities in a safe manner Report any safety issues immediately to a supervisor Other duties to meet business requirements QualificationsEducation & Essential Qualifications: Experience in mechanical repair along with intermediate mechanical, analytical, and reasoning skills Key Attributes/Skills/Characteristics: Honest Dependable Organized Resourceful Mechanically inclined  Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Preferred Qualifications: Trade school certification in automotive or truck maintenance and repair Experience in repair shop environment Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
