Compensation
$85,000 – $250,000+ annually (base wage plus commission and performance incentives)
This is a high-performance, commission-driven sales role designed for professionals who want to maximize their earning potential.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (rotating)
- Weekday off when working Saturday
- Additional hours may be required based on customer demand and peak boating season
Key Responsibilities
- Sell new and used boats, outboard motors, and marine accessories
- Guide customers through the full sales process from first contact to delivery
- Build long-term relationships and generate repeat and referral business
- Maintain expert-level product knowledge of boats, motors, and competing brands
- Follow the dealership’s structured sales process
- Maintain a professional, welcoming showroom environment
- Follow up with customers before, during, and after the sale
- Work boat shows, dealership events, and promotional activities
- Attend sales meetings and collaborate with leadership
- Maintain professional appearance and dealership standards
This position requires flexibility. Customer traffic may extend beyond posted hours during peak season.
Qualifications
Required:
- Passion for boating, marine products, or outdoor recreation
- Strong closing skills and relationship-building ability
- Customer-focused mindset
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
Preferred:
- Previous commission-based sales experience (marine, automotive, RV, or powersports strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of boats, outboard motors, and marine equipment
- Experience with CRM or dealership systems
- LightSpeed or LightSpeed EVO experience is a plus
