Located in Red Wing, Minnesota, Elektro Assemblies is a leader in the manufacturing of all wire our customers wire needs; from single wire to complex large harnesses. We help customers in a variety of industries including automotive, healthcare, technology and food equipment, just to name a few.

We are looking for a self-directed ambitious team member that wants to be part of a high performing inventory management team, that can utilize their skills to contribute to the growth of the business!!

Qualities needed to be successful in the role include:

  • Routine replenishment of raw materials - executing on MRP actions (generating and sending purchase orders to support planned and scheduled production).
  • Kitting production orders; right part, right place, the right time, every time.
  • Complete accurate shipping (Complete and on time - COT).
  • Ability to receive parts accurately and in an efficient time.
  • Evaluate and inspect all incoming products and materials.
  • Analyze and complete root cause analysis, and corrective actions related to supplier performance.
  • Utilize data to drive supplier performance: quality, delivery, and cost of goods.
  • Manage and maintain warehouse inventories - accurate, fixed locations, visible and physical controls. 
  • Maintain and execute the Cycle Count Program (CCT) - to ensure inventory accuracy.

Ideally, your background would include some, if not all of the attributes listed below:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • APICS CPIM certification preferred.
  • Minimum six (6) months of related experience or training - hands on experience in a high-volume repetitive manufacturing environment using MRP, is required.
  • An associates degree is a big plus, but not a requirement.
  • Formal training on or use of ERP / MRP systems is a must.
