Job Title: Customer Service Specialist 

Reports To: Director, Customer Service and Catering

Location: MIA Headquarters 

 

Overview:

GlobalX is seeking an experienced Customer Service professional to assist its sales team with the coordination of ad-hoc charter flights. This position will be responsible for interacting with all clients in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Provide support to the Charter Sales Department through preparing quotes for all charter services, replying to customer inquiries, and maintaining the oversight of the contract.
  • Primary point for planning, communicating, and executing the day-to-day operations of charter flights.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with external stakeholders (clients, brokers, FBOs, Ground Handlers and catering vendors) to understand their operational charter needs.
  • Ensure boarding passes and bag tags are sent to ground handlers as needed.
  • Communicate efficiently with internal stakeholders (OCC, Sales, Inflight Management, Crew members, Security, and Maintenance ).
  • Loading, updating, and controlling customer manifests, seat assignments and capacities.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all the items detailed on sales contracts are executed.
  • Work with ground handling department to coordinate details per contract.
  • Inform internal departments of flight details pertaining to the weekend operation, with specific customer details, transportation information and flight information.
  • Ability to work on demand for last minute flights and high-profile requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales/VP of Sales. 



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Previous Customer Service or Account Management Experience desired. 
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be a team player with flexibility to perform different roles and assist others when necessary
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects, make decisions and meet deadlines.

 


Work Schedule: This position primarily follows a Monday through Friday schedule. However, due to operational requirements, occasional weekend work may be required to support and monitor flight operations and customer contracts. Schedule adjustments will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
