Field Installation Technician

SUMMARY

We're looking for a hands-on, action-oriented individual with strong manual skills to support the physical deployment of our technology infrastructure. This role is the core operational resource in Miami, South Florida, responsible for ensuring equipment is assembled, transported, and correctly installed at client sites - while maintaining order and inventory control at our warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assembly & Installation - Build metal profiles and structures for technology portals using hand and power tools (drills, levels, etc.). Physically install and secure these structures at required locations.

Basic Hardware Connection - Mount sensors and antennas onto structures. Route and connect basic network cabling (RJ45 ports) and connect equipment to power sources safely and cleanly.

Warehouse Management - Receive, organize, and conduct physical inventory of hardware, tools, and supplies at the Doral warehouse.

Logistics & Transportation - Operate the company vehicle to load, transport, and unload tools, structures, supplies, and equipment from the warehouse to multiple job sites.

Operational Support - Distribute tags and consumables per location needs. Perform basic maintenance and preventive cleaning of printers and other on-site equipment.

Coordination & Reporting - Work in close communication with and under the direction of the lead engineer, reporting project progress and technical updates to keep the project on schedule.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. No college degree required - this role is 100% experience-driven.

Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Handyman, installation helper, Low Voltage Installer, general maintenance technician, or similar hands-on/light construction role.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to read diagrams or follow detailed assembly instructions.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, bending, and regularly lifting boxes and tools.

Language: Fluent Spanish required for internal communication with the project management and engineering team. Basic to intermediate English needed for interaction with security and facilities staff at client sites.
