ABA Squad is hiring a full-time Health Services Coordinator to support our client intake and authorization process. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with families, insurance verification, and healthcare/ABA documentation.Â
This position is a key part of our onboarding process and helps move new referrals from initial caregiver inquiry to assessment and therapy authorization.Â

- $23–$26/hour, based on experience, plus Bonus opportunitiesÂ

What You’ll DoÂ
- Answer caregiver calls and guide families through the intake processÂ
- Collect and document intake information for new referralsÂ
- Send intake packets and consent forms to familiesÂ
- Follow up with caregivers on incomplete paperwork, missing signatures, and pending documentsÂ
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for new referralsÂ
- Request and track initial assessment authorizations and therapy authorizationsÂ
- Maintain accurate records in company systems and intake tracking toolsÂ
- Follow up with families and insurance companies to keep cases moving forwardÂ
- Complete monthly eligibility checks and annual benefits verification for active clientsÂ
What We’re Looking ForÂ
- Experience in healthcare intake, insurance verification, authorizations, ABA administration, medical office administration, or a similar roleÂ
- Strong phone, follow-up, and customer service skillsÂ
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple open casesÂ
- Experience working with commercial insurance and/or MedicaidÂ
- Strong organizational and documentation skillsÂ
- Comfortable learning and using multiple systems, spreadsheets, and payer portalsÂ
- ABA, pediatric therapy, or behavioral health experience is a plusÂ
