FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary

Provides comprehensive pediatric primary care within Nuvia Medical’s value-based care model.

Responsible for preventive care, chronic disease management, and pediatric population health.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric care including well-child visits and immunizations.

• Conduct developmental and preventive screenings.

• Manage a pediatric patient panel.

• Collaborate with care coordination teams.

• Ensure compliance with pediatric quality measures.

• Promote appropriate healthcare utilization.

• Develop care plans for high-risk pediatric patients.

• Participate in pediatric population health initiatives.

• Review quality dashboards and improve outcomes.

• Educate families through anticipatory guidance.

• Document encounters in the EHR.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.

• Active Florida medical license.

• Active DEA registration; PALS preferred.

• Experience in outpatient pediatrics preferred.

• Knowledge of pediatric quality measures.

• Strong communication skills with families.
