POSITION SUMMARY:
The YMCA of the East Valley is committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, the Program Director is responsible for supporting YMCA operations through effective delivery of programs, services, and member engagement. This position contributes to the achievement of Association goals by promoting the YMCA mission, values, and strategic priorities while providing high-quality service to members, participants, staff, and the community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions
- Lead all aspects of the program experience, ensuring a welcoming, inclusive, and service-driven environment for all members.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of program outcomes, satisfaction, and participation trends.
- Support fundraising efforts including the annual campaign, donor relations, and special events to support branch’s programs and services.
- All other duties as assigned by management.

- Deliver high-quality customer/member service to participants, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners.Â
- Support departmental and Association goals through effective communication, teamwork, and accountability.Â
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required.Â
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and required professional development activities.Â
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Â
- Support risk management and safety procedures.Â

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and or equivalent experience in related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of YMCA experience or in a customer service field.
- Proven experience in managing people, programs, and budgets.
- Excellent human relation skills and an ability to maintain positive communication with staff and members
- Commitment to the mission and values of the YMCA
- Proven ability to build genuine relationships
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to analyze data and adjust strategies
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

- Sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.Â
- Operating office equipment and technology.Â
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.Â

- Ability to travel between branch locations, if applicable.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The work environment noise level is typically moderate.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE)
Employees assigned to drive company vehicles with driving responsibilities must:
