Responsibilities
- Design and develop novel factory and online calibration algorithms for sensors and displays. Design and prototype automation for calibration in collaboration with mechanical engineers and prototyping technicians
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research teams from Reality Labs in computer vision and graphics
- Participate in advanced research in computer vision that can be applied to Wearables and VR product development
- Work with other engineers to bring new products to market
- Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality standards, and technical culture within your team
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
- 2+ years of experience developing and designing Computer Vision and Perception algorithms for robotics technologies and systems
- Experience in C++ development
- Prototyping and engineering experience in at least one relevant specialization area in Computer Vision or Perception for Robotics: Camera Calibration, Online Calibration, State Estimation, Sensor Fusion, 3D Reconstruction, Camera Pose Estimation, Structure-From-Motion
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Robotics, or a related technical field
- Publication track record at conferences such as SIGGRAPH, CVPR, NeurIPS, ECCV, ICCV, ISMAR, ICML, RSS, ICRA, IROS, etc
- Industry experience working on projects such as: Camera Calibration, Online Calibration, State Estimation, Sensor Fusion, 3D Reconstruction, Camera Pose Estimation, Structure-From-Motion
$121,992/year to $181,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
