Job Description:
The Contracts Manager negotiates sales contracts on behalf of the company. Provides contractual risk mitigation strategy guidance. Protects the interest of the company by understanding and interpreting contractual terms and conditions. Utilizes working knowledge of regulations including Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g. DFARS) and other agency regulations. Analyzes significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies and procedures. Manages the contractual review of solicitations, proposal development, contract change control process and overall contract administration. Establishes and maintains primary contractual interface with the customer.

Essential Functions:
Â
- Preparing, negotiating, and administering multiple contracts of various types for a variety of customers.
- Ensuring contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, customer specifications, FAR, DFAR and ITAR.
- Reviewing RFPs/RFQs; preparing proposals and quotes including change proposals; performing associated negotiation activities.
- Performing risk assessment of quotes/contract terms and conditions; formulating and executing strategies to minimize potential risks to the business.
- Working with customers, management, and program teams to resolve issues, secure approvals, and ensure successful contract execution.
- Serving as point of contact for the customer during all phases of a program.
- Generating and maintaining contract documentation.
- Interpreting and applying FAR and other federal procurement policy guidance.Â

Qualifications:
Â
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant contracts experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:
Â
- Strong oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with leadership representing outside organizations and/or within the company.
- Functional knowledge of ERP systems input and report generation.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Washington State is $79,000 - $1470,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.Â
