Full time Dispatcher

Hillsboro Aero Academy is looking for an outgoing, well-organized individual with excellent customer service skills to join the dispatch team at our Hillsboro campus. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient flight environment for customers and employees from around the world. 

Please note: This is a non-certified dispatcher position, FAA certification is not required. 

  Job Duties:  

• Uphold standard operating procedures of HAA and regulations of FAA
• Actively participate in HAA safety culture
• Maintain aircraft schedule once posted by the Scheduling Department
• Communicate directly with maintenance department for scheduled and unscheduled resource maintenance
• Aviation radio and multi-line phone
• Auditing flight logs for accurate billing and training records
• Dispatch office organization and upkeep
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Licenses:  

• Valid driver's license with good driving record preferred
• High School Diploma      

Required Skills/Experience:  

• Excellent customer service
• Safety conscious approach to all tasks
• Proficient in multi-tasking
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Well organized
• Punctuality
• Team Player

  Preferred Skills/Experience:  

• General aviation knowledge
• Private pilot license
