The Senior Campaign Portfolio Manager is responsible for driving the campaign portfolio strategy, investment governance, prioritization, and campaign planning rhythms across the Creative & Production organization. This role serves as the integration layer connecting campaign strategy, creative development, production, operations, agency management, budgeting, measurement, and leadership decision-making.
The Senior Campaign Portfolio Manager helps transform the organization from managing individual projects and requests to managing a portfolio of strategic campaign investments. By creating visibility across initiatives, establishing governance frameworks, optimizing resource allocation, and driving portfolio prioritization, this role ensures the organization is investing in the highest-impact opportunities aligned to business objectives. This directly supports the broader vision of evolving from a function-led organization to a portfolio-led operating model focused on business outcomes, investment stewardship, and organizational effectiveness.Â

Responsibilities
Campaign Portfolio Strategy & Investment Planning
- Own the end-to-end campaign portfolio strategy across Creative & Production campaign investments, programs, and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive campaign portfolio view spanning all major business priorities, investments, and workstreams.
- Partner with organizational leadership to define strategic priorities, investment decisions, and planning frameworks.
- Lead annual, quarterly, and monthly portfolio planning processes.
- Create campaign portfolio roadmaps that provide visibility into priorities, dependencies, investments, risks, and expected business outcomes.
- Ensure investments remain aligned to organizational goals, business impact objectives, and available resources.
Portfolio Prioritization & Investment Management
- Design and own the organization's portfolio investment framework, including investment categories, prioritization models, funding approaches, and governance processes.
- Establish clear investment categories across growth, customer advocacy, brand, events, product launches, strategic partnerships, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Create and manage prioritization frameworks that evaluate initiatives based on strategic alignment, business impact, customer value, organizational capacity, risk, and return on investment.
- Lead leadership discussions and tradeoff decisions when demand exceeds available resources.
- Recommend investment allocation strategies and portfolio funding distributions across business priorities.
- Continuously assess portfolio performance and recommend acceleration, expansion, optimization, consolidation, or retirement of investments.
- Drive a disciplined investment approach that concentrates resources against the organization's highest-value opportunities.
- Shift prioritization from stakeholder demand and project volume toward measurable business impact and strategic value.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in portfolio management, business management, strategy, consulting, operations, program management, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional planning, prioritization, and governance processes.
- Analytical, financial, operational, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Experience developing executive business reviews, planning frameworks, and decision-support materials.
- Background in management consulting, business operations, corporate strategy, PMO leadership, or portfolio management.
- Expertise in resource planning, capacity modeling, financial management, organizational design, and business transformation.
- Experience creating investment scorecards, prioritization frameworks, and executive dashboard reporting.
Integrated Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
