School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) | Redmond, WA | Part-Time (.6 FTE) | 2026–2027 School Year

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in Redmond, Washington for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Highlights

  • Location: Redmond, WA
  • Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Schedule: Part-Time (.6 FTE), up to 22.5 hours per week
  • School Year: August 24, 2026 – June 17, 2027
  • Setting: In-person, school-based
  • Hours: Up to 7.5 hours per day, 3 days per week, based on the district calendar
  • School Sites:
    • Elementary School (.45 FTE)
    • Elementary School (.10 FTE)
    • STEM High School (.05 FTE)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to determine students' educational needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in educational settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom accommodations
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, self-care, and functional skills that promote educational success

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license
  • Active Washington ESA Certification
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide in-person services at multiple school locations
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
