Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Level 2 to join the Vehicle Engineering Directorate within Western Region Engineering. In this role, you will support electrical engineering for Design Integration, Cable & Harness, and/or Solar Array. This position is located onsite in Redondo Beach, CA.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Electrical systems requirements development & analysis 
System, subsystem, and unit-to-unit electrical block diagram generation
Power and command & telemetry hardware resource management and allocation
Electrical Connectivity development for spacecraft harness design
Fusing, signal integrity, and electrical interface compatibility analysis
Cable & Harness Design
Produce photovoltaic array electrical design related engineering drawings and specifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree in STEM
Must have active SCI access at the time of application or an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company, prior to the start date
Experience in electrical troubleshooting of components and equipment
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated multidisciplinary skillset with the ability to work with manufacturing and other engineering disciplines
Experience with software tools such as PSPICE, MATLAB, Mentor Graphics, Routed Systems Design (RSD), HarneSys, CATIA V5, NX, Siemens Capital, Microsoft Access, Visio

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
