Job Summary

This position leads engineering for the team responsible for the Delinea Platform experience.

You are an expert at front-end engineering, have built and worked with component libraries, can speak design, code for accessibility, sniff out bad UX, write and deploy backend services to support the experience, and you want to do all of this in a micro-frontend architecture while leading a team that makes the magic happen.

This position plays a key role in strengthening Delinea’s identity and access management ecosystem through high-quality engineering practices and innovation. We want to learn, solve complex problems, and work together as a strong team. You will report to the director of engineering, Platform Intelligence.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow a team of software engineers building out the front-end experience, including hiring, coaching, and career development.

  • Interact regularly with the design team to ensure the experience meets the design

  • Translate design, product, and engineering roadmaps into operational plans, and guide the team through execution and delivery across the Delinea Platform.

  • Determine staffing and resourcing needs to meet project schedules and goals.

  • Partner with design, peer engineering managers, product managers, architects, and DevOps/SRE leadership to align priorities and present results and recommendations.

  • Guide the team using established engineering practices and department standards, recommending improvements where needed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the day-to-day work of the platform experience engineering team, balancing feature delivery, technical debt, platform reliability, and the platform experience across the entire Delinea Platform.

  • Own delivery of the team’s roadmap for the component library and other UX services (front and back) written in Angular / C#, ensuring alignment with Delinea’s engineering and design standards.

  • Coordinate UI / UX standards across all services within the micro-front-end architecture while ensuring component API compatibility.

  • Identify common patterns that should be promoted to standard components and coordinate the component life cycle.

  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning for direct reports.

  • Oversee code and design reviews to maintain a high bar for performance, accessibility, and maintainability, including WCAG 2.1 and higher.

  • Collaborate with designers, architects, product managers, and DevOps/SRE teams to define and prioritize the roadmap, ensuring compliance with all standards.

  • Champion engineering best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement and mentorship across the team.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering with Angular (or comparable), C# .NET and microservices architectures.

  • Proficient in front end technologies such as Angular, React, node, npm, rxjs, HTML, TypeScript, javascript, module federation.

  • Able to understand and diagnose complex front-end lifecycles to optimize performance.

  • Write and review code to ensure accessibility standards including aria and other WCAG requirements.

  • Write and support complex UI components as well as their component API.

  • Able to manage the life cycle of a component library that is used across many services.

  • On top of the latest trends to help identify technology adoption for front end.

  • Full-stack – your team supports backend services that drive the experience.

  • Practical experience integrating AI/ML systems using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI frameworks.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and privileged access control.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor within a collaborative team environment.

We’d Love to See:

  • Strong passion for the user experience.

  • Experience with Angular / Angular Material.

  • Experience with complex micro-front-end architectures like module federation

  • Strong understanding of front-end service encapsulation, distribution, dependency injection, resiliency, state management, and other enterprise level UI patterns.

  • Knowledge of observability frameworks (Datadog RUM, Grafana) for monitoring and diagnostics.

  • Prior experience in AI-enhanced security, automated policy enforcement, or data compliance management.

  • Proven success in Agile software development and continuous delivery enviro
