Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.

 

Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images.

 

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.

 

  • Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and physicians promptly and courteously. Refers to each individual by name when appropriate. Screens individuals by requesting to seeidentification or visitor pass.
  • Consistently produces quality images within hospital guidelines and department standards (i.e. patient safety, repeat rate, exam protocols, film processing, inc.)
  • Accurately completes documentation according to hospital and department guidelines, including exam performed, billing, film labeling, computer entry, etc. Performs other clerical duties as necessary (e.g. login ofpatients, filing films, etc.)

We are offering a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Four (4) years experience as a technician plus one (1) one modality
  • OR or three (3) years experience as a technician plus two (2) modalities
  • Must have satisfactorily completed a formal radiologic technology training program accredited through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the California Department of Public Health, Radiation Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).
  • Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT)
  • Fluoroscopy Permit
