Summary

This role is critical to our client experience and requires a friendly, upbeat demeanor. The Administrative Assistant supports the daily operations of the practice, including, but not limited to: answering the phones, meeting/greeting clients, handling/distributing postal mail and practice email, utilizing Thrivent computer systems and programs in support of client relations, and other administrative tasks as assigned. The Administrative Assistant reports to and is employed by Covenant Financial Group.

This position is fully in office in Reedsburg, WI.

Job Description

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Greet clients and visitors when they arrive
  • Answer all incoming calls and disperse them and any messages appropriately
  • Maintain client correspondence including mailing lists, call lists, compliance, and marketing mailings
  • Maintain adequate office supplies and professional appearance of the office areas
  • Interface with clients extensively to coordinate meetings, and other communications.
  • Update CRM systems as needed and maintain physical or electronic file systems
  • Maintain client correspondence including mailing lists, call lists, compliance, and marketing mailings
  • Assist Financial Advisors in the preparation and follow up for client meetings
  • Provide back-up support on tasks that do not require any type of licensing or registration for other staff members, as needed

Position Qualifications

  • Previous administrative/secretarial experience desired
  • Ability to communicate and provide superior customer service to practice's clients
  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learn
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions
  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information

Compensation is between $18-21 an hour dependent upon experience. Benefits provided: Simple IRA with employer match.

As part of Covenant Financial Group's recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process. In addition, fingerprints will be taken for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
